Christmas Day was even sweeter with the release of Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max and in select theatres around the world, that is the ones that are open. The ninth installation of DC’s Cinematic Universe and the second Wonder Woman titled movie directed by Patty Jenkins sees the return of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord and Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah.

There were certain things about the movie that I noticed that left me perplexed and raised the following questions.

Why is Wonder Woman wearing her Costume in broad daylight?

The start of the year 2020 was one word: amazing. The most futuristic-sounding year of my time will be the foundation of my pivotal success. Plans upon plans upon plans were made. An entire year scheduled and scripted to a tee.

From celebrating the New Years at the stunning Closenburg Hotel with Maribou State ushering in the new decade to being best man at two of my favourite people’s weddings and spending more time in 5-Star hotel rooms than expected. …

Because it won’t have a charging port

People around the globe were glued to their screens to watch the newest Apple event on October 13, 2020, where Cupertino based Apple announced the iPhone 12 to the world. Many people had an idea of what was expected, the team at MacRumors have been working overtime on very correct hints and leaks, so we did expect the 5G compatibility, a mini phone, the squarer edges and no charger in the box.

But why am I stating that the next iPhone will not have a charging port? By Apple removing the adapter in the iPhone 12 paves way for them…

A journey of being better

The year was 2013, I was in my first foray into tourism but at a very corporate role. I wanted to introduce more experiences to my clients, we were bringing them in by the busloads and having the same products that our competitors had wasn’t cutting it, I wanted better.

Even the words that I used for the experiences, “products” was so corporate it took away the human aspect of it. All I looked at was finding something a market wanted, getting the best possible price and maximising profit for the company. In the event that the market wanted nothing…

A short poem about love and lies

But where do you go? Here are some ideas.

Facebook Inc and its founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg have been in the news for many reasons (most privacy-related) the past few years but the most noise was during the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

Without getting into much detail, a data company called Cambridge Analytica harvested copious amounts of user data from a bunch of apps they designed to create profiles of people which were then sold to political campaigns such as Trump2016 and Brexit. The said campaigns then created content that targetted these profiles and swayed favour in their direction or dissent in the direction of the opposition. It is…

We meet on Sundays
and we go out.
I buy you lunch.
We go lingerie shopping.

We grab some ice cream.
We argue about flavours.
You cry about the boys you have.
I whine about the girls I don’t have.

I come over to your place.
We watch some tv.
You come over to my place.
We listen to music.

You kiss my lips.
My hand moves up your shirt.
You kiss me longer.
I press my self onto you.

We fall off the bed.
Onto the bedroom floor.
You wrap your legs around me. …

A Statement of Apple Being Replaced by Another

Earlier I wrote why the Mac Pro isn’t for everyday users but for power users that work in industries and need a behemoth of processing power for their day to day tasks. Now I will tell you why the Macbook Air is becoming the most unnecessary piece of hardware in Apple’s lineup.

The Macbook Air was launched in 2008 and claimed by Steve Jobs as the world’s thinnest notebook. It replaced the ‘Macbook’ range of laptops and was a laptop aimed at users who we’re vying for the more powerful MacBook Pro and just needed a machine that could do…

It’s been over a year since I quit my full-time job to make my way in the world in the ship of ATRIUM Consultancy. I got smart with myself and my social circles and decided to leverage my skills to my broad network. Having been in the Hospitality and Tourism trade for 6 years enabled me to not break into new territory but to use knowledge in an industry I am well versed in.

Being an independent worker, people are paying you for your time and for your skill.

Once you have established yourself as someone who moves within that…

I’ve been coming across many suggestions on YouTube from tech reviews channels such as Unbox Therapy and Marques Brownlee on the new Apple Mac Pro. Why am I getting video reviews of the most expensive computer in the consumer market? I don’t know. But one thing I do know is that the Mac Pro isn’t something I’ll buy.

While I do use Apple products and see the beauty of them, I am not the target market they’re after with the Mac Pro. …
